Broadway Seat Options

Entrepreneur Samantha Levine is a graduate of the City University of New York, and currently resides in Brooklyn. Outside of her professional work, Samantha Levine enjoys attending Broadway shows in New York City such as Beauty and the Beast, Chicago, The Phantom of the Opera, and Wicked.

Broadway refers to live theatrical performances presented by theaters located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. There are 41 Broadway theaters with at least 500 seats currently operating in New York, including the Ambassador, Belasco, Majestic, and Palace Theaters.

Tickets for Broadway theaters can typically be purchased at the theaters’ box offices, online, or over the phone. Seating options are broken up into orchestra, mezzanine, balcony, and box seats. While the orchestra seating is located on the main floor, mezzanine and balcony seats are located one and two levels up, respectively.

Box seats are located along the sides of the theater near the stage. In some cases, standing-room-only seats may be offered when shows have sold out.
